Shirshasan: Shirsa is Sanskrit word and its meaning “Head” and asana meaning is “Posture”. Shirsasana is known as “Headstand” also known as king of asanas the yoga poses.

How to go in the pose?
1- Sit In Vajraasana-Bolt pose
2- From the bolt pose entr into Dolphin movement and practice
1. Sit in Vajrasana and leaning forward and placing your elbows down on the mat in line with the shoulder and interlock the finger and make a equilateral triangle.
2. Press the elbows down tuck the toes in and lift the knees of the ground.
3. Place the crown of the head on the mat and walking in with the feet towards the body.
4. Bending the knees bring closer to the chest and lifting feet up from the ground.
5. Knee is closer to upper chest and thighs coming closer to belly.
6. Bringing knee away from the lower chest and thighs iSs away from the belly.
7. Knee is vertical with the body and heels is closer to the buttocks.
8. Slowly straighten the one leg feel and slowly lift another leg up, feet is together, point the feet or flax the feet, thighs rolling in, tail bone tuck, belly is engage, tortious extended evenly, fore arms pressing down and crown is resting on the mat.
9.If a short arms than use folding mat under the fore arms to bring equal weight on fore arms and on the head other way if short neck than use folding mat under the head to maintain the equal weight on head and forearms.

Contraindications:
Shirsasana should not practice those people have below problems:
1.Those who suffering with neck problems, headache or migraine.
2.Those who have “High blood pressure “.
3.Herat problem avoid this asana.
4.This asana is not practised by those have weak “Blood vessels” in the eyes.
Contraindications for Woman’s:
1.This asana is not practised during in the “Pregnancy “.
2.This asana is not practised during the “Menstruation “.
